Timetable



The purposed timetable for conducting this professional PBL Based Learning Initiative Proposal has been designed for the second semester of the 2010-2011 school year. A brief outline of the projected project timeline is as follows:

  • Preparation and publication of written proposal - October, 2010 (approximately 2 weeks)
  • Collaborative planning and development of workshop details and student instructional activities-November, 2010 (approximately 2 weeks)
  • Presentation to administration for consideration and approval-(November & December, 2010 (approximately 4 weeks)
  • Purchasing of needed software- January 2011 (approximately 2 weeks)
  • Scheduling and Advertisement for upcoming workshop- January 10-14, 2011
  • Presentation of workshop sessions during the sixth grade faculty’s common planning time from 11:00a.m.-12:15p.m. during the school day Sessions dates will be as follows:

  • Immediate feedback provided by survey at the conclusion of the workshop session-March 1, 2011
  • Brief follow up session on the progress, problems, and success of the implementation of the PBL student activities -March 15, 2011
  • Data analysis of student achievement for those who participated in the PBL instructional units-August 2011
